Time and time again
5 out of 5 stars.
I wrote this after reading previous reviews, I have travelled to four countries around the world since owning and its been perfect and when at home its in our guest room and it keeps perfect time and what more do you want. If as previous reviews there is a problem why not use guarentee and return. I have had a couple of this type of clock and this out peforms them.

Don't Buy; Doesn't Work
1 out of 5 stars.
Will not hold to UK time in Surrey, UK.

I bought two of these to use at home and after 3 months will throw them both away and shop for somehting else.

Both are equally unreliable and switch to CET frequently and unpredicatble but usually wiuthin a day or two of resetting.

A useless product for me although I have another MSF radio-controlled clock which has worked fine for years so th esignal in my area must be OK for that one.

Waking up an hour early again -- I don't recommend this

I have to say this doesn't work well, UK or not.

1. As posted by another customer, the clock has a nasty habit of changing from UK time to European time, even though I have set what I need to set in English etc. It will change literally halfway through the night, so instead of my alarm going off at 6:50am it will do so at 5:50am as it has now reset itself back by an hour.

2. The display is abysmal. You can only view it at a particular angle (Seems like about 15 degrees to me - looking at it almost from the top down.)

A clock with a mind of its own

Never mind Thailand; I live in the South of England but the clock is convinced it is in Germany. For a while I had it cracked but the last three nights it has reset the time to CET and my alarm has gone off at 05.30 (UK time) instead of 06.30. The batteries are out and the clock is no longer in use! A complete waste of money

Didn't Work in Thailand!
1 out of 5 stars.
Great in the UK, setting itself up and working very well straight out of the box.
The problem came when I asked it to set to local time in Bangkok. Basically, Thailand is more than 1500Km from the nearest signal (Japan), so it didn't work. This would not have been a problem, as the clock has a manual setting function, except that on non-receipt of a time-signal, my unit decided to reset itself to 00:00hrs 01/01/02001. When the device is pre-programmed to attempt calibration every night at 2am, 3am, 4am and 5am, by the time I woke up every day the clock was incorrect by several hours!
I read the manual, and tried to overide this setting, to no avail. Trying it all over Thailand (North, South, Central) I eventually gave up and used my mobile phone alarm clock function.
I returned it to the manufacturer when I cam back to UK, only to be told they could find no fault. In hindsight, I would not buy this clock again.
