| Editorial Reviews: | | | | | Can be attached to any Kärcher pressure washer that has the bayonet style attachment to the trigger gun. Predominantly a patio-cleaning device that can be used on fencing, garage doors and a number of different surfaces. It has two dirtblasting nozzles on opposite ends of a propeller attached inside the outer casing. When the high pressure water is blasted through the lance and propeller, a hovercraft effect is created that cleans the whole patio in a tornado effect. It reduces the cleaning task by five times thus decreasing motor ware, water usage and the time spent cleaning by the consumer. The cleaning nozzles are height adjustable to cater for differing floor or wall surfaces being cleaned. Finally the outer casing protects from splash back, which stops irritating dirt being spread around your home. Two dirtblasting nozzles Hovercraft effect Cleaning splash back protection For wooden decking, patio flooring, tiles and concrete Five times faster than regular spray lances Larger working diameter than the T-200 | |

| | I bought this at the weekend, very sceptical having read the different reviews but I can honestly say its probably going to save me 4 times the mount of time it would have taken to clean my blocked drive with just the lance, where there is a lot of moss in between bricks you will have to go over a few times to get it up but its hardly hard work!
The best time saving device I have bought for a long time..
| | | I was ready for the spring clean of my drive and front and rear patios. Picked up this gadget because it looked promising.
Out of the box the item looked sturdy and had the usual quality feel associated with Karcher. The cleaner is a large disc with a nylon brush which makes the contact with the floor. underneath there are 2 nozzles which spin on a propellor. There are 2 other nozzles which you have to change depending on your make (mine is a K3) this was a little fiddly, but not difficult. The lance extension is sturdy and there is a locking collar for additional support. On the body there is a dial to adjust pressure and a sliding mechanism to open and close a louvre which puts it into a hover mode.
I got everything up and ready and started off on a bare concrete driveway. I was immediately impressed with how little spray out there was, nice and clean. That is where I stopped being impressed.
The nozzle spray is very fine so there is only a pencil thin cleaning line. It isn't fast or powerful enough to move at any speed. So moving back and forth is done slowly and the clean isnt as deep as I wanted. I had it on full blast power and although it cleaned, it was nowhere near as fast or as clean as the cone shape lance I use. The "hover" slide switch made no difference whatsoever. The brush drags on the ground no matter what setting you have. This is difficult when working on a steep drive as mine is.
Moving onto a flat patio was a bit better for movement, but I was not happy with the result. When I encountered some moss in the joints of my patio, it took ages of back and forth slow moving to try to dislodge it. The only real benefit is that my windows and door didn't get covered in muck, but that is never a problem, I just give them a quick low pressure swill.
The other negative point is that as you are cleaning, the dirty water doesn't go anywhere other than usual run off. With a lance you can sweep the dirty water away. Lastly if you want a complete clean, you still have to attach a lance to get in the corners, edges and nooks and crannies.
When I went to my back patio I gave up and went back to the cone lance with extension piece to ease the lower back strain. It does the job in half the time, half the water and half the electric.
I guess that the patio cleaner would be good on decking as it is not so severe. Ideal if you have the time or are not particularly concerend about the end result and I would recommend it if you don't like getting dirty windows and wet feet and it is certainly a must for delicate stone work where erosion is a concern.
If you don't mind getting wet and having a face full of patio dirt, stick to a cone jet with extension lance. Much more fun.
Mine is being returned less that 6 hours after delivery
| | Almost the perfect attachment. | |
| | First of all I bought this and amazon had it deliverd across the Irish sea in a few days so congrats to them. Excellent service as normal. The device itself has certainly made the job of cleaning the patio easier. It definitely reduces those awful splashes all over the walls and windows and therefore means that it is much quicker and tidier than the lance. If you are very fussy it could be said that it doesnt get the job done just as well as the lance. I "wrote" my childrens names onto part of the dirty patio and then went over it with the T300. You could still see the names after I had washed the area with the T300. Having said this however, I still think that it was a good buy as I am now more likely to clean the patio as the device is very user friendly.
| | Amazing speed and just brilliant addition to the karcher | |
| | This has to be the very best attachment I've bought for the karcher, makes the washing of the patios and slabbed paths so much easier....total recommendation
| | Really does make cleaning the patio 10x quicker | |
| | I'd read some of the other glowing reviews here before splashing out on the patio cleaner tool. I'm using it with a K6 and it really is superb - makes cleaning the patio more like vacuuming the carpet (just a lot wetter). Points to note: 1) Works well on stone and brickwork; also seems less prone to removing pointing than using the lance. You can hold it vertically against walls to clean bricks quickly (wear waterproofs...) 2) The steel extension rod supplied with (as a handle) can also be used on other accessories (make the lance/car brush longer) which was a nice surprise. 3) The "hovercraft action" isn't a gimmick. The tool "floats" on the spray it makes and makes manoeuvring it quick and easy. 4) Well built - seems like it will last - better than the other accessories I've seen with the K6 5) Had my patio clean from 9 years of gunk about 28 hours from placing the order with Amazon for this and the K6 pump!
Good stuff.
