| Useful complement to The Collection | |
| | This good value compilation provides several classic tracks from Big Barry which do not appear on The Collection of his biggest hits. True, there is also a bit of forgettable filler from the late 1970s, but the selections from his early 70s albums show him on top form, and were on his first Greatest Hits LP back in 1975. Particularly notable are Honey please, I've got so much to give, and the impassioned Standing in the shadows of love - which puts the Four Tops version in the shade (if you'll forgive the pun). The original single mix of Never never gonna give you up is included, and interestingly It's only love is the number later covered by Simply Red.
| | You will want it, and Barry will definately give it to you! | |
| | the ultimate smooth talking love machine at his seductive, irresistable best! if you want some late night soothing tunes you can't do better than this. Watch out for tracks where Barry utters sweet nothings into the mike, and also the definitive version of a modern cult classic. Ally Mcbeal fans beware! This does not contain the Biscuit's favourite, but this is only a slight defect on a truly sensational sound. This could seriously affect your ability to leave the house without previously taking a cold shower. Ann Summers beware - your stocks may be in high demand...
